How To Find Us: 

Sydney Tower Dining Reception is located on Level 4 of Westfield Sydney.

To access the venue, enter the shopping centre on the corner of Market and Castlereagh Streets (between PRADA and MIU MIU). Take the escalator one level up and you will notice the lift lobby on the left hand side in front of you, opposite CHANEL.

Q:

Where can I park or where is the nearest parking station?

A:

We have several parking special rates for guests dining with us:

Parking Terms and Conditions (valid for all parkings)

1) Please provide your parking ticket to the Sydney Tower Dining Reception staff upon arrival and your ticket will be validated.

2) Failure to validate your ticket will mean that you are required to pay the full hourly rate upon departure from the parking station.

3) Parking is strictly between the hours indicated above. When parking outside of these hours, guests will be charged the full hourly rate upon departure from the parking station.

What style of restaurant is Sydney Tower Buffet?

A:

Sydney Tower Buffet is the contemporary self-select restaurant in Sydney Tower Dining. Offering an extensive banquet-style dining experience with a wide variety of international dishes including fresh seafood, salads, hot dishes and desserts. Sydney Tower Buffet offers uninterrupted revolving views of the city and provides the perfect relaxed dining environment for locals and visitors alike.

Is there any dining time?

A:

Yes, we have a 1.5 hours dining time.

What are your opening times?

A:

We are open Lunch and Dinner, 7 days all year round. Booking times from 11:30 – 14:00 then 17:00 – 21:00. In summer we open from 11am.

Can I request a window seat?

A:

Every table has uninterrupted beautiful views of the city, therefore we do not accept seating requests.

Does Sydney Tower Buffet revolve?

A:

Yes, Sydney Tower Buffet is a revolving restaurant with uninterrupted views overlooking Sydney Harbour, across the city and beyond. One rotation generally takes 80 minutes.

Do you have wheelchair access?

A:

Yes, we do. Please advise in advance so we can accommodate guests as best we can.

Do you require a deposit for the bookings?

A:

Yes, we do require deposits for bookings of 5 guests or more - $100.00 is required to secure the booking. For parties of 20 or more, a 25% deposit is required.

Do you have special booking times for groups?

A:

Yes, we do. Groups of 12 or more can be accepted at:

  • Lunch: 11:30, 11:45, 13:15, 13:30
  • Dinner: 17:00, 17:15, 18:45, 19:00, 20:30

Do you have a cancellation policy?

A:

Yes, we do. Generally we require 48 hrs notice for a full refund of the deposit. On some special days and special events we require full pre-payment which may be non-refundable. However, in the event you need to cancel, the amount can be held as a credit and used within 6 months.

How do I access Sydney Tower Buffet via public transport?

A:

Closest train stations are Town Hall or St James Station, and closest bus stops are Elizabeth Street, Castlereagh Street and Queen Victoria Building interchange.

Do you have children’s menu?

A:

No, we don't have a specific children's menu. However, there are more than 60 dishes on offer at the buffet, and so many are great for children. They love the spring rolls, fish and chips, Italian pasta options, salads, hot foods and lots of desserts including unlimited ice cream! The children’s price is $27.50 for those between the ages of 3-12.

Do you charge for children under the age of 3?

A:

No, we do not charge toddlers and babies, however please contact the reservations team to request a high chair for the table or space for a pram.

Do you add a service charge to the large bookings?

A:

No, we welcome large groups, at no extra charge.

Is Sydney Tower Buffet open during public holidays?

A:

Yes, Sydney Tower Buffet is open for all public holidays. Special pricing applies.  

Q:

Can I bring my own alcohol or is the restaurant BYO?

A:

No, Sydney Tower Buffet is a licensed restaurant offering a selection of wines, beer and cocktails available for purchase at the table.  

Q:

Do you accommodate guests with dietary requirements?

A:

Yes, the buffet caters for a variety of dietary requirements. Gluten free and vegetarian options are indicated. For the other dishes, please ask your host for explanation. As the buffet is a self-serve environment we cannot guarantee there will be no cross contamination.

Do you accommodate Halal?

A:

Yes, we have many Halal dishes – the chicken, beef and lamb are all bought from certified halal suppliers.  Please let reservations or your restaurant host know that you are Halal and they will talk you through the dishes.

Q:

Do you organise anything special for birthdays and anniversaries?

A:

Yes we do, we love hosting special occasions. With notice on your booking, we can provide:

  • Complimentary birthday plates
  • Complimentary anniversary or congratulations plates
  • Special service requests
  • With 48 hours’ notice, we can make a beautiful chocolate dome cake special for your occasion. 3 different sizes available, booking and prepayment required. 

Guests are welcome to bring their own celebration cake, however a cakeage fee of $5 per person applies. Please note we have a "no flame" policy at Sydney Tower, this includes candles and sparklers.

Q:

Do you have a dress code?

A:

No, Sydney Tower Buffet does not have a specific dress code. However, we do ask guests are appropriately dressed for a casual dining restaurant.

Q:

Do you have a separate bar where people can come just for drinks?

A:

We have table service for beverages, however if you would like to just go to the bar – this is available at the 360 Bar. Please ask at Gallery Desk (reception desk on level 4 at check in) for more information. There is a $20 minimum spend and a dress code applies.  

School Tour FAQs

Q:

Can we have the tour without the meal?

A:

Yes, you can. We think the meal is a great way to finish the excursion – but if you don’t have time or the offering doesn’t suit, we have an option to simply take our tour. The cost is $25.00 per person. The tour would start at 10:00am and finish at 11:30am.

Q:

When is the final payment due?

A:

Final Payment via direct bank deposit or Credit Card must be completed 48 hours before the tour. We do not accept payment on the day or after the tour.
Please Note: Cheques are no longer accepted for deposit or final payments.

Q:

Can I change my numbers closer to the date of the tour?

A:

Yes, you can! Final numbers must be submitted one full week prior to the tour.

Q:

When and where does the tour start?

A:

Please come to Level 4 of Westfield Sydney to the reception desk.  The tour starts at 10:00 but we recommend arriving 15 minutes early.

Q:

What is the cost of the tour? Can teachers come for free?

A:

The cost of $45.00 per person includes the tour and 1 hour meal in the Sydney Tower Buffet. One free of charge person applies for every 16 paying students.
